Hiring Policy
It is the Policy of Crown Security System, Inc.
to recruit, hire, train, and promote regardless of color, race,
religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, national
origin, or any other factor prohibited by law. Further, Crown
Security System, Inc. does not tolerate unlawful harassment based
on any of the above.
Harassment Policy
Harassment is regarded as severe or pervasive
discriminatory behavior that:
- Creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment.
- Unreasonably interferes with an individual's work performance.
- Otherwise affects an individual's employment opportunities.
Sexual harassment, for example, can take many
forms. Improper conduct may include, but not limited to:
- Unwelcome and unwanted advances or invitations.
- Requests for sexual favors which condition an employment
benefit upon exchange of sexual favors.
- Verbal conduct, such as nicknames, slurs, or comments.
- Visual displays, such as derogatory posters, cartoons or
drawings.
- Any other form of verbal or physical conduct of a sexual
nature which creates an uncomfortable, intimidating or hostile
environment.
Employees should keep in mind that what may
be acceptable behavior to some people may not be acceptable to
others.
Disciplinary Policy
Crown Security System, Inc., is committed to
hiring and training honest, hard working client service oriented
individuals. On occasion, some individuals do not measure up
to those standards. We strive to take a constructive approach
to disciplinary matters to avoid actions, which would otherwise
interfere with operations or an employee's job performance. When
making a decision for proper action the seriousness of the infraction,
past record of the employee, and the circumstances surrounding
the matter will be considered.
The following violations but not limited to,
will result in disciplinary action:
- Providing inadequate, rude, or otherwise inappropriate service
to our clients.
- Unacceptable job performance.
- Unexcused tardiness or unexcused absences.
- Failure to meet specifically assigned tasks.
- Unauthorized or early departures.
- Dress code violations.
- Failure to turn in complete reports.
The following violations but not limited to,
will result in immediate discharge:
- Actions deemed as "detrimental" to our clients.
- Acts of violence, theft, harassment, or dishonesty towards
the client, management, fellow employee, or Crown Security.
- Theft or destruction of property.
- Illegal possession of a dangerous weapon.
- Failure to report to work (no call/no show).
- Calling or signing in or out for another employee.
- Falsification of Crown Security Records.
- The sale, attempted sale, possession, or the use of illegal
drugs or reporting to work under the influence of drugs or
alcohol, or for the consumption of alcohol or drugs during
working hours.
- Insubordination, refusal to comply with supervisor's instructions.
- Wrongful use or dissemination of company material, information
or records to any parties not employed by Crown Security System,
Inc.
Drug Policy
DRUG FREE WORK PLACE
Crown Security System, Inc., believes in "zero
tolerance" regarding drug use and take all necessary precautions
to insure a work place free of alcohol and drug use. Any type
of possession of illegal controlled substances is prohibited
and will subject the involved employee to immediate dismissal.
No officer will be permitted to work if they are found to be
under the influence of alcohol or drugs. All employees are tested
for drug use during the initial employment and are subject to
random drug testing throughout their career with Crown Security
System, Inc. All employees receive a copy of our drug policy
before they are offered employment and are required to sign documents
stating they understand the policy and will comply with it. |
